Dog Park

Subfacility of Washington Lake Park

The Dog Park at Washington Lake Park is located adjacent to Parking Lot I off of the Greentree Road entrance. The Dog Park is open from 6 am to dusk. It is an unleashed dog park with two areas for dogs to run. One fenced area is for smaller dogs weighting 30 pounds or less and the other fenced are is for larger dogs weighing 30 pounds or more. No children under the age of 14 are permitted. Dogs must be brought to the fenced areas on a leash. You must be registered to bring your dog to the dog park area. In addition to the "Dog Park Area" at Washington Lake Park, Washington Township’s leashed dog park is located along the banks of Grenloch Lake at Ron Heck Memorial Park in Grenloch.

The bucolic setting at Memorial Park in Grenloch includes: rustic walking trails, a stoned covered parking area, a split-rail fence and large “doggie pot” waste containers outfitted with plastic disposal bags.

The park can be accessed from Park Avenue or Black Horse Pike. It is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and patrolled by Township Park Rangers. All dogs visiting the park must be leashed, licensed and up to date on their vaccinations.
